Mosslands School | Demolition & Land Remediation

Our scope of works at The Mosslands School redevelopment in Wallasey formed part of the Department for Education’s £61 million investment to deliver a new state-of-the-art secondary school campus for up to 1,500 pupils.

Appointed by Willmott Dixon, the main contractor, we delivered a comprehensive package of enabling and groundworks activities, including asbestos removal, demolition, invasive plant remediation, ground remediation, attenuation tank excavation, cut-and-fill earthworks, piling mat installation, and cycle track construction.

These works played a vital role in preparing the 19-acre site for the construction of the new three-storey school and associated external facilities, which will include sports halls, an all-weather sports pitch, a multi-use games area, car parking and cycle parking.

The project will create a modern, sustainable learning environment supporting the school’s future educational and community needs, while contributing to the delivery of a Net Zero Carbon in Operation campus.
