Ferney Lee | Project Management

The LK Group is providing full project management services to Connect Housing Association for the delivery of the Ferney Lee mixed-use development in Todmorden. This flagship scheme brings together 19 high-quality, affordable, energy-efficient homes with a new enterprise centre designed to support and grow local businesses. The project forms a key part of the Todmorden Town Deal regeneration programme, helping to create long-term social and economic benefits for the community.

Our appointment covers the end-to-end management of the programme, from pre-construction through to handover. This includes overall programme leadership, contract administration, stakeholder engagement, and the establishment of effective governance processes. We have led the procurement strategy, completed contractor appointments, and put in place robust reporting structures to support decision-making across multiple partners and funding bodies.

Our key responsibilities included Programme, budget, and risk management across all project stages, ensuring the scheme progresses efficiently and in line with agreed parameters. Coordination of design, client, and contractor teams to maintain quality, safety, and regulatory compliance throughout delivery. Support in achieving sustainability and low-carbon objectives, including the integration of renewable technologies, fabric-first principles, and efficient construction methods. Ensuring alignment with Town Deal funding milestones and Homes England requirements, maintaining full transparency and compliance across all reporting streams.

Through proactive leadership, early risk mitigation, and structured project governance, we are driving successful delivery of a high-quality, sustainable community asset for Todmorden one that will provide lasting social value and help stimulate local economic growth.
