Site Manager

Position: 

Site Supervisor/Manager (Temporary / Contract Role) 

Location: 

North West/ West Yorkshire 

Salary: 

£35,000 – £55,000 

The Role: 

Due to our continued growth and client demand, we have the opportunity for a self-motivated individual for the position of Site Supervisor/Manager on a temporary / contract basis, working as part of our Land Remediation team.  

This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your skills in a flexible role while contributing to significant projects. As Site Supervisor/Manager, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining sites, including managing Health & Safety onsite, maintaining site conditions, personnel and communication, and carrying out routine checks, procurement and staff briefings. 

This temporary/contract role is perfect for individuals looking to expand their portfolio with a reputable, multi-award-winning organisation, offering a chance to work on dynamic and impactful projects.  

Responsibilities & Requirements: 

 

Responsibilities  

  • Management of site Health & Safety. 
  • Maintenance of the site, welfare, and traffic management plans. 
  • Conducting site inductions for all site personnel and visitors. 
  • Overseeing daily site briefings. 
  • Keeping RAMS up to date. 
  • Communicating work plans, toolbox talks and safety alerts to the workforce. 
  • Completing routine checks and keeping records. 
  • Ordering materials and items of plant. 

 

Requirements  

  • Experience in managing and delivering remediation and bulk earthworks related schemes. 
  • Experience of managing workforces made up of both sub-contractor and direct staff. 
  • Excellent communication skills. 
  • CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid, and full driving license.
