We are thrilled to announce that The LK Group has been shortlisted for the Sustainability Award at the 2025 Ground Engineering Awards for our standout project, “Sustainable Transformation of a Contaminated Brownfield Site: Three Sails Point.”
Delivered in close collaboration with Magenta Living, Simon Fenton Partnership, Seddon Construction, Halton Council, MPSL, and Vertise, the project is a true example of what can be achieved through strong partnerships and shared values. Together, we transformed a contaminated brownfield site into a sustainable community.
This prestigious nomination highlights our team’s commitment to delivering innovative, sustainable ground engineering solutions. The Three Sails Point project showcases how contaminated and underutilised land can be regenerated into vibrant, healthy spaces through thoughtful design and environmentally conscious remediation strategies.
Colin Crompton, Director at The LK Group, commented:
“We’re incredibly proud to be recognised for our work on Three Sails Point. Sustainability is at the core of everything we do, and this project is a perfect example of how engineering can be a powerful tool for environmental regeneration. This shortlisting is a testament to our team’s expertise and passion for creating long-lasting impact through sustainable development.”
We look forward to celebrating with fellow finalists and industry leaders at the awards ceremony on 18 June 2025 at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House Hotel in London.
