At The LK Group, we’re proud to celebrate National Apprentice Week by spotlighting our talented apprentice DJ Anderson, who has made a real impact as an Apprentice Project Manager since joining us in July 2024.
What does DJ do?
From earthworks modelling to project cost estimation, procurement, and health & safety documentation, DJ plays a key role in keeping our projects on track all while balancing his apprenticeship coursework!
So far DJ has been a part of some major projects with our key clients including Willmott Dixon, Caddick Construction, and Tyson Construction. The largest and most challenging project he’s tackled includes the remediation and groundworks of a former football stadium paving the way for a new police station. He’s proud of both his contributions and the positive impact it will have on the community.
Since his time at LK, DJ has learned some invaluable skills including time management, problem-solving, and key leadership traits.
We asked DJ what he loves most about working for LK?
“Aside from the coffee machine, our MD’s biscuits, the air fryer, and office speakers, the most rewarding part is making a real impact on the environment and community—helping transform brownfield land into housing and essential services through our projects.”
