Nearly a year ago, Eryka joined The LK Group as a graduate geo-environmental engineer. In this short time, she has become an integral part of our team, contributing her expertise, enthusiasm, and commitment to every project she takes on.
Eryka’s role involves conducting a range of essential site investigations, including:
- Gas monitoring
- Water sampling
- Window sampling
- Dynamic cone penetration (DCP) testing
- Foundation pits
- Trial pits
- Soakaway tests
In addition to her fieldwork, Eryka plays a pivotal role in producing detailed documentation and analyses. Her responsibilities include:
- Assisting in writing Preliminary Risk Assessments (PRAs).
- Preparing soil logs and scheduling samples for testing.
- Conducting garden and gas/radon membrane validations.
Over the past year, Eryka has embraced every opportunity to grow and learn. Her adaptability and willingness to take on new challenges have been inspiring, and she continues to look forward to furthering growth within The LK Group.

I like that every day is different, and I’m given the flexibility to work from home and not in the office 24/7.
