Northern Roots aims to transform the expansive area into a vibrant hub for learning, leisure, and sustainable agriculture, benefiting the local community and environment. By volunteering their time and skills, The LK Group’s team contributed to the early stages of this transformation, which is expected to unfold over the next five to ten years.
It was inspiring to see our team roll up their sleeves and get involved in such a meaningful project. Northern Roots has a vision to create a unique destination that will boost health, well-being, and livelihoods, and we’re thrilled to play a small part in making that vision a reality.
The eco-park project is designed to serve as a model for urban regeneration and sustainability, providing opportunities for education, community engagement, and environmental management. With plans to include areas for growing food, wildlife conservation, and recreational activities, Northern Roots is set to become a thriving space for residents and visitors alike.
