Due to our continued growth and client demand, we have the opportunity for an experienced and confident Geo-environmental Resident Engineer in our Land Remediation Team.

As a Geo-environmental Resident Engineer, you will be instrumental in leading and overseeing the successful delivery of brownfield remediation projects. You will have the dedication and ability to manage both geoenvironmental consultancy (which may be carried out by our in-house consultancy or external consultants) and our remediation contracting projects.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

Responsibilities

  • Participating in project planning and management.
  • Undertake fieldwork support of site personnel.
  • Ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and standards.
  • Interpret geotechnical and environmental reports and waste classification assessments to current UK standards.
  • Provide technical advice and support to project teams.
  • Concurrently manage and deliver multiple geoenvironmental consultancy and remediation projects.
  • Characterise ground conditions and provide recommendations covering foundation design, ground improvements, earthworks etc.
  • Mentoring junior staff and assisting Site Managers in coordinating validation and compliance testing.
  • Ensuring projects are delivered to specification, on time, and within budget.
